Flying with syringes

If it's legal for diabetics to fly with syringes, I wouldn't think that airport security would take much notice of a couple syringes in a random bag.

Your thoughts. Any experiences?

(I know it would be better to not take any and wait, but what if you were on Fina ED and only flew somewhere for a long weekend)

I just flew with about 50 of them with no problems. I put them in my checked baggage. I didn't take any gear with me though.

Well, if I did it, I'd have to preload the syringes. But I don't think that would matter to the X-Ray machine.

Syringes alone would be OK....gear and syringes is very risky

i get my syringes w/a script and they are designed to have a lock on the needle and a cover over the plunger to prevent it from discharging, plus its pretty cool cuz my name is on them and its all legit, i bet if you asked Walgreens for a few for a flight they would do it
