flying with gear?

I fly with gear domestically, simply put syringes, needles in side of dobb kit and then
gear is a seperate compartment and always check your bags,

Needles are what they are going to ask you about,

IE what is this 18g 1.5 inch needle

for what it's worth - have a friend that flys with pins/gear every week (in carry-on). Pins don't show on scan amps/vials don't seem to either. He hasn't been pulled over yet..

I have a friend sitting in county awaiting his court date for having a single insulin syringe w/o a script (not on a plane). Is it really worth the risk?

If your friend cops a plea to that or doesn't take it to trial, he's an idiot.

That kind of charge, by itself (if there were no other charges, i.e. posession), would indicate that the cops were aggravated they couldn't get him on any *real* charges that they just threw something on him to put him through booking.

Unless those cops conned him into talking about it or admitting it was for drugs, and that made it into the report, he needs to take that one to a jury.

I've never seen a BS charge like that stick when fought.

Yeah, it's enough for a first appearance judge to show just cause for arrest, but it wouldn't make it past a trial.
