Now, I've done X amount of delt shots, but this one f-ing hurt like a little beatch....the nurse kept trying to pull out the ski to give it to me and kept saying "Boy, I'm having a rough time....and....you sure do have a lot of muscle here, don't you.." SHUT UP BEATCH AND GIVE ME THE DAMN SYRNGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why did you bother getting that shit? Didn't you see that the FDA just approved Flu Mist. Its a flu vaccine that you take up your nose. I took it 6 weeks ago and so far so good but we;ll see. I hate neeedles and I have never bothered to get a flu vaccine until now.

Mine didn't hurt at all either. However, it's been a while since I had someone else stab me, so I was actually nervous about getting it. I shoot myself every morning and 4 times on Sundays, but when the nurse came after me with that little needle, I was a little freaked out. It really is too bad they don't let you do it yourself.

I had it done in September with a 23g 1 inch pin. Too bad the latest reports indicate that the researchers were wrong in forecasting the strain of flu this year. It's anticipated that the season will be a bad one because we've all been innoculated with the strain which is not circulating.

Yeah, I heard that too.

When I went to get my shot, the bitch jabbed me w/ the needle, them remembered that she left the cotton swab on the counter...so she left the syringe hanging in my delt and walked to get the cotton ball. I haven't had a shot that painful since the first shot of my first cycle (hand shaking problems).

Anyway, I'm going to be pissed if I get the flu this year, especially since I'm 3 weeks into my test/EQ cycle.

flumist.............most people are not gonna want to spend the extra $$. its 5X more expensive to get it squirted up your nose and then you walk around with live virus in your nostril for three weeks potentially infecting anyone around you who is immunocompromised. no thanks on the $50 flumist, i'll stick with a $10 flu shot.
