Fixing a deviated septum without surgery?

Does anyone know of a non-surgical way to fix a deviated septum? Someone on another forum was recently diagnosed with sinusitis (sp?), snores like a grizzly, and is thinking of having it surgically corrected.

Only problem is, he really really isn't looking forward to having his nose packed for a week after the surgery.

Any experiences, comments, suggestions?

I had this, they use electrical current to create a legion inside the turbinate cartiledge, as it heals up the turbs shrink up. It takes 15 minutes, you will be congested the first couple days then you can breathe well again.
