Just curious to what everyone thinks of the available fitness magazines out there. I know FLEX and Muscle and Fitness are pretty much for the more advance bodybuilders. What about someone just getting into it? Mens Fitness? Mens Health?
Just looking for opinions.
I find most of the bb'ing magazines to be nothing more than page after page of ads. The so called fitness magazines are even less of a help for the most part. I think that you can find more "real world" training help on Elite, just by reading and asking questions.
I agree. Although I do like FLEX. I think if you have a decent base of knowledge before reading those mags, and realize that most of what they feed you is BS, you will be able two accomplish 2 things: 1) pick out the few useful tips/exercises/advices in the mag and 2) be entertained. I like reading about Big Ron, even if it is M&F or FLEX sucking him off.
I like muscle and fitness...the magazines for women are the worst though..."trim inches off your midsection"..."target those glutes" ....it's every mag, issue after issue. I know the guy ones are just giant supplement ads but at least there is some variety.
(I have a magazine addiction though...everything from Time to Maxim)
