Fish nutrients, not tuna.

Alright well i really prefer eating fresh water caught fish over tuna. My father and i are big fishermen so we always have fish at home and he eats it daily. Is it okay if i eat this instead of tuna? Are the nutrients the same?

same thing for protein (about 20g/100g) and carbs (very few)

but tuna contains much more fat (though goos fats, like omega 3s) than white fish

Actually, White fish often contains lots of water and per 100g(before cooking) protein is pretty low, between 15-19g. I eat white fish every day, and the one I eat are 18.1g protein per 100g, low fat(0.8g) and no carbs. I just don't make a big thing out of it and therefor I eat about 200g of the fish per meal and look on it as I got about 30-35g protein. Remember a few grams of it probably get destroyed while cooking and if you boil it, some proteins will probably zipp out from the meat and mix up with the water, and you probably will throw this away. I always add some 10g of proteinpowder to each meal just to make sure I get enough protein ;)
