I have a very compatible relationship with a female right now:

We each pay half the bills.

She makes the place smell good and puts neat little plants around the place and hangs stuff on the walls.

In return, she has a quite large, brutish looking guy around the place that reduces her chances of being targeted for a violent/sexual crime tremendously.
