First real PL workout....

Must i use a machine for glute ham raises? our strength coach has us have a partner put his weight on our feet while we start on our knees and go down and touch our chest, hands, fists, FACE, etc. and come back up. That's our version...

Sounds like somebody stands on your feet while you lay out flat using one hand to touch the other (and your face), but I guess any amrican will comprehend it.

You don't tell yourself: "I'm so pretty" while you are at it though, huh?

you can do basically the same thing kneeling on the ground, while someone holds your feet (put a thick soft pad under your shins, right below the knee - so the knee is "floating" just above the ground-don't put the pad right under your knee)

I do them like this and they work fine...

love good mornings, i do standing and seated, and you can do GHR's from a lat machine if ya want by facing away from the machine and placing your heels under the knee pad and using a broomstick to spot yourself.
