man my hand was moving all over the place, the pin was going in all different directions. it was in the glute standing, and to make it worse i was using 25g, and i had to put alot of force to get it through.
i thought it wasn't going through at first, so i pulled out and saw 1/2cc had gone in already, so i changed pins and did the rest, it took a few minutes. it starting to get a little sore now. think for the next one i should try quad? or get a wider pin?

Lots of people like the 25g, but because of the extra pressure needed ton inject I din that I cant keep as steady and wiggle more causing more trauma than if I had used a 23g so for me 23g is the prefered pin.

Due to all your wiggling ypu will be sore and may bruise a bit as well, as long as depot was deep enough you will be fine. I think first time inj in quads are easier cause you can sit down and can can see whats going on and when you get more comfortable start adding glutes in the mix when your not so psyched out about doing it.

I use 25g and it's easy as hell. Just heat up the gear before injecting it. It goes in MUCH easier after being warmed up a little.

And Zyg already said it, injecting quads are a ton easier than hitting the glutes. If you already have some decent size, it's hard to twist around and hold the needle steady in your glutes while injecting. If you sit down to inject glutes, it's much more manageable, but still not as easy as quads.

i STILL wiggle the needle around at least partially at this point on my right quad. always get decent pain for days after inject (even with enanthate). my left quad i NEVER get pain, just a little minor knot i can barely feel sometimes. not sure why i go in at angles, move around etc on my right leg....i'm right handed. but i would never have tried glutes first time....don't know how anyone could make it through that w/o mistakes the first time. although i bet more than 3 of 4 first timers use glutes. does seem like you got to push like a bitch to get the juice out the 25G, takes forever....reason i move around so much i guess.

Start using a bigger pin bro!! Either go with a 23 gauge or 22 gauge!! I used to use 25 gaugers in my shoulders and man i would sit there for a minute or two untill i got all the gear out of the pin!! Now with 22 gaugers its like 15 seconds and its over!!

yeah, but it hurst more and stuff going in...:bawling:....:D

I've never shot, so this may be a stupid question...

How bad are 20g needles for injections?

I noticed that Delatestryl redijects are 20g, and aren't Sust's the same?

A 20g needle has got to hurt. I save the 20g needles and stick on a 22 or 23.

20g are pretty large, you can use em but it wont be fun. 22-23g seem to be a nice compromise between fluid flow and tolerability in injecting.
