Background: I am 35 years old, 6'1", 200 lbs and 12% body fat. I have been training off and on for the past 12 years. I did about four 8-week cycles between the ages of 25 and 30, and at my biggest, I was 230 lbs, 16% bf. I injured my shoulder in 2003 and haven't been able to lift heavy since then. I had two surgeries for my shoulder in the past 12 months -- they have helped, but I still don't have complete strength back in that shoulder, which means I can't really lift heavy anymore.
My main goal now is to get lean and hard and finally see some abs
I would also like to do what I can to accelerate my shoulder recovery (or at least not cause more injury). Adding 5 lbs of muscle would be nice, too, if possible, but because of my shoulder surgeries and my age, I am no longer interested in super heavy lifting or getting huge.
Cycle: I have access to test enanthate, boldenone undecylenate (eq), primobolan enanthate and trenbolone enanthate, and I would like to do a 8-10 week cycle. My earlier cycles were test or deca based, but I don't want to use those here because I got incredibly bloated. I have heard that boldenone (eq) helps rejuvenate tendons, so I think I want to include this in whatever cycle I end up going with. Right now, I am thinking of one of these:
I will also be taking Hydroxycut throughout the cycle.
I can't tell if this is more than I need. If I can get good results with lower dosages, I would definitely prefer a lighter cycle (because my goal is to lean out, I haven't been on in 5 years, and I am getting older, I don't want to over do it.) I am particularly concerned about the tren b/c I have heard it shuts you down pretty hard, so I plan to use HCG for post-cycle therapy.
Training & Diet: I will do cardio on the elliptical 3-4xs/week @ 30-40 minutes/session. That gets mind-numbingly boring, though, so I will probably mix in some jump rope 1x/week, too.
For training, I will lift 3-4 days/week, doing a push/pull/leg split. Reps will be in the 8-12 range.
My diet will be protein (45%)/carbs (45%)/fat (10%), total daily calories 2500. Protein will be at ~275gms/day.
