Are there any firefighters in here know if when you get hired on a department if they check for steriod use are not? thanks for the help guys

Im pretty sure they dont.
They just test for drugs like Coke, pot, heroin, meth Etc.........

That depends on if your a voluntary or full time FF.
If your voluntary you won't get tested but if your
full time you will get a urine test.

he is right, its like being a cop they want you in good shape due to the duties you have to forefill. but if you get caught then they look down upon it. but dont get caught and they will love that you are strong and big.

Im a fireman and have not been tested for juice. Usually paid guys get tested for pot, coke, etc. steriod test are usually more expensive and not normally done. However they could be requested if your suspected of using. Just keep your head and be smart and keep your mouth shut at the station.
