why amateurs. the Olympics is best of the best. the NHL players are good but there is also better hockey out there i bet the Metallurg Dynamo team could beat the NHL teams. none of them are in the NHL. i have to disagree

Well, the reason I say amateurs is they would have more fire than these guys. Most of the US players seemed to be protecting themselves, didn't want to get injured.

i thought the US played good honestly. i watched all of there games. they played better than canada. they wouldve beat canada

The game against the swedes is the only one I caught and they sucked on the power play. During one 5 on 3 half the time was spent in thier own zone. No shots on goal. How do you have a two man advantage for over 1:30 and not get a shot on goal?

I saw a couple bad calls, when a Swedish player blatantly knocked the net off its moorings, and Chelios purposefully cleared the puck up over the glass. Neither were called. Other than that officiating was good.

I think goaltending was superb for just about everyone.
