Finding datable people Online or Offline, which is better?

What do you folks think is a better way to find datable people (quantity and quality). By meeting them online at first, through sites like myspace, dating sites, facebook, etc. Or by meeting them offline at work, church, organizations, bars/clubs, etc?

Lets assume the person is looking for more than a one night stand.

And lets also assume they are already done with highschool and college.

I have had good experiences with meeting people online and in real life. However, the really only terrible dates I have ever had in my life were all from online. There are some really crazy people on those dating sites!

When I was working over 60 hours a week it wasn't that easy meeting people out. I still did, but the online dating wasn't bad, either.

as long as you can find a place for meeting people that works for you

you cant just walk out your door and expect a hot chick to be standing there, or expect to find one on your street that is willing to talk to a stranger in public.
