Finding a Doctor in the Houston, TX Area

goliath.jr said:
Sorry if this seems OT, but it does involve AS. I am trying to find a doctor in the Houston area that is somewhat "steroid-friendly". I'm starting the fina portion of my cycle next week and I want to have a doctor check me out every few weeks. I would like to be able to tell the doc about my AS/AAS usage and not worry about him lecturing me. Anyone have a doctor they could recommend? TIA!

Keep in mind alot of chiropractors (find one who works out-or bodybuilds) are sympathetic and will at least write for the bloodwork. If you are a do it yourselfer or have medical knowledge you can get the values back and see what your values are as to the norm.
However its better if you have a physician monitor you and go 'full service' so you can get complete analysis, ect.

Did you happen to look over the Dr that is in Tx that posted in this thread?

No, I didn't overlook it - I just preffer to have someone that is local and accepts insurance. That's all.

If I was in Texas, anywhere in Texas, I would make the drive to see DrJMW even if there was an antiaging doc nearby.....

I went to my doc in Austin and he said there was a doc in Houston that would prescribe HGH pretty "freely". But he didnt know his name. Sorry

Just to be clear: 1- even if a doc doesn't accept insurance you can still submit the meds to be covered by insurance. I don't know about office visits. If its a PPO, maybe you can get out of network coverage? 2- There is not really much value to a doctor "seeing you". My experience has been they are just trying to ram as many patients through in a day as they can, they don't take more time to think about your case. I have found that working with a "non-local" doc can be just as or more effective. Particularily if you find one that is really good. This is a specialized field, make sure you get a good one......
