How long before a cycle, which includes test, should you begin using finastride to combat hairloss. Also, how long should you continue to use it after the cycle or once you start the treatment should you plan on staying on permanently (the finastride) ? Is it wise to use finastride with EQ included in the cycle ?I know it's not to be used with Deca, but up until now I haven't read anything negative about using EQ and Finastride together.

For hairloss and prostate health I take 1/2 cc eod during my cycle and 2 weeks after cycle. Your dht levels are very high when on test. I know it is a lot to use but, better safe than sorry.

don't buy the 1mg tablets, they are way TOO EXPENSIVEEE. Buy the 5mg tablets and divide them as evenly as you can, though this is not very important, some have even reported good results by gulping one 5mg tablet every few days.

thats what I do, I buy the proscar and cut them in 4 peices; i would do them in 5 but thats too dificult, only the box says, 'tablets should be swallowed whole, not to be broken; does anyone know; does breaking them somehow decrease the effectivness of the drug? why does it say that? is it just because they want you to pay more and get the propecia or is there some scientific reason, like the chemical breaks down when it's exposed to air or something like that?

Probably because the entire tablet is mostly filler, therefore the active ingredients might actually be on one side, while the other side has dick all.

This happens a lot with pills in tablet form...

Once started, finasteride should never be stopped unless a dermatologist has prescribed dutasteride. That being said, I use 1.25 mg every day and bump it up to 2.5mg when on heavy testtosterone based cycles. Hope this helps!
