Buy the 5mg Proscar tabs and 1/4 them. it ends up being 1/3 of the price of propecia.

A lot of liquid research companies have it for pretty cheap.
I use the liquid version 60 mL, 5mg/mL and it works great.

I dont mean to hijack the thread but gotta ask. How does it work great? Does it help regrow hair on vertex(forehead) or top of head? Does it keep hair from falling out during cycle? I know that is what I have heard. Did it help you regrow hair or just keep it. thanks

I've actually started cutting the Proscar pills into 8 pieces. There have been studies that show finasteride works just as well in .5mg/day sizes..plus you get reduced sides.

Currently I'm paying about $45 for over 1 years supply. I only dropped to the .625 mg dosage 2 weeks ago, but so far so good. The 1mg dosage kept my hair and grew some back..I caught it pretty early, but my sex drive went to hell - I've been better since I cut back the dose.

I'm confused. I thought Proscar was a prostate drug? Finasteride seems to be for hair.

I was just starting to fade in the front and getting a patch in the back. I hadn't really noticed it, but ppl who hadn't seen me in 6months mentioned it to me (mom never pulls any punches). It was happening naturally...every male in my family as far back as I know has been bald.

The sexual sides weren't really all that bad for me, but noticeable none the less. Remember they affect everyone differently and they will go away after a few weeks of non-use...so you may as well give them a shot and see what happens.

Proscar is the brand name of 5mg finasteride tablets. Propecia is the 1mg variety. When they originally started giving out proscar for prostate problems they noticed it had the side effect of growing back hair or stopping its decline...so they cut the dosage, upped the price and rebranded it - those fucks.

So - if you are into saving some money, buy the proscar (or cipla generic finasteride).

The little secret that very few people know is, Popecia is NOT covered under any health plans, but PROSCAR IS. I just get the proscar and cut it into 1/4 peices and voila. You now have free finasteride.
