Finasteride ?'s

Fighting a losing battle with the hairline. What's everyone's experience with finasteride (i.e dosing, effectivness,etc)? Thanks inadvance.

i hgave used it for several years. i think it has worked maintaining what i have had. i have thinning hair but a decent amount for a guy my age. being on cycle does not help your hair loss, so propecia may be good idea.

i uzed to buy online from safemeds.com but suspected their stuff was crap. i do not trust ANY company that uses customer services reps from india. sounds prejudiced but i cant stand talking to those people. i want to deal with americans (regardless of race).

I ordered it from a board sponsor. What kind of doseages did you use? Did you up it while on?

I use Proscar 5% finast/ED Off or ON. Holding. No loss. No growth.
I really don't care at my age, but I use it anyway. Helps keep the prostate small for ease of pissing. I still have 80% of my hair at 51.

i went the research chem method for my finasteride. I use around 1 mig a day. I am 29 with the start of MPB damn genetics. Anyway my girlfriend and my wife both have noticed my hair being thicker also I have to cut it more now. been on it for a month-6 weeks

My hair line started receding when I was under 20. I was able to get my hands on a few years supply of the stuff through a buddy, I'm 24 now been taking it ever since. My hairline stopped right where it was, no regrowth but it's not getting any worse. I have been taking 1mg a day, and am in the middle of a test E cycle with no hair loss at all. I kept the same dose while on my cycle

so it appears to be 1 mg/day. I hate to sound like a newbie (asking if you can drink winny), but is it digested or applied to the scalp?

1 mg typical does. if you buy proscar its cheaper, you can cut it up with a pill cutter. way cheaper. best to spring for name brands. i am convinced a lot of these generic version are inferior.

supposedly taking more than prescribedf dose doesnt increase its results. who the hell knows if you best to take more while on cycle. dont think anyone really knows.

You might want to look at Toco-8..
I have been on the same hrt for 2 years. And used both fina and dura for the hair and both of these shampoos Nizoral and Nioxin also Biotin 5000mcg. Never could get it to stop Completely. I would always have about 5 to 10 hairs in my hand when I wash my hair. There is other shit that I tried that also did nothing. Now I start toco-8 and after 3 weeks the same hrt 400mg a week and I cut the dur to 1/4 mg and only using the nioxin shampoo along with 5000mcg biotin. No hair when I shampoo. I will try t come off the dur completely in about to weeks completely. I tis worth trying for the money.
