Finasteride question...mods and vets reply

A buddy of mine told me that Finasteride will only help reduce DHT, and thus prevent hair loss, with test only. Finasteride will not reduce DHT with any steroid accept test.

Is this true?

Finasteride binds to 5-alpha reductase. This means that it will block the conversion of any steroid to DHT. There is no other pathway.

However, most steroids don't convert to DHT. EQ and Dbol do convert to DHT, but only in small amounts due to limited affinity for 5-AR.
Testosterone and all its analogs convert to DHT.

Stew, does this then mean that only test is hard on the hair, and EQ and dbol are only somewhat hard on the hair.....since these are the only roids that convert to DHT? This doesn't make sence because I know for sure that winny is hard on the hair line.
