Someone help me out here....I got finaplix pellets...one of my friends mixed them for me. He ground them up.....filtered it with a coffee filter. But..lately I have heard that this way...some of the potency is lost. Is this true.....if it is...how much did I loose?
We didnt use one of those kits......but I hear that with those..nothing is lost and that the pellets simply dissolve in the liquid. So...someone help me out here. So what am I dealing with here....is my stuff less potent now?.

Maybe if you would have read the replies to the last identicle post you made you would realize that you have not given anyone enough info to offer you any help. What exactly did your friend do in his home made conversion process? No one can offer any ideas or advice unless we have more info.

from what I understand.....he ground them up....put the powdered pellets along with the oil in a coffe maker or in a container (Im not sure)...poured the oil in and let it filter through over night. Enough came out for 50 ml. Does this sound right? Thanks for the replies so far guys....

Does it sound right? Nope, sounds like a cluster fuck to me. Its anyones guess what you have now. In order for the coffee filter to be of any use seperating the shit from the tren, the tren needs to be dissolved in some liquid medium. In your case you just added it to oil, which does not dissolve tren very well I may add. So what you just did, if you ask me, is piss away $40 on a cart of fina. Unless your (or your friend) really has some clue of whats going on, which is apparent you dont, I would recommend you spend the money on a tried and true conversion kit.

Ok, here is what you should have done (assuming you don't have a kit)... In my opinion the best easy procedure (as opposed to best procedure regardless of difficulty) is to first dissolve the pellets in benzyl alcohol, 1 mL of BA per nominal gram of pellets. (50 pellets are one gram, and there are 100 pellets per 10 row container.) This will take at least overnight provided there is some shaking periodically. You may see some very fine particles, filler, but not any substantial size particles.

Then add a suitable oil to a volume of 20 mL for each nominal gram of TA. This should be allowed at least half an hour for the filler to precipitate out. The oil is then filtered. A preferable procedure is to allow the filler to settle to the bottom in a hard pack, so the oil can be poured off leaving it behind, and it does not slow down the filtration.

This procedure does not remove that component which tends to cause coughing shortly after injection. (Neither does any procedure recommended by the makers of the "kits.")

FYI - You don't want to mix with oil first, because benzyl alcohol has far better ability to dissolve TA than oil does -- about 1 gram per mL vs 50 mg per mL. You CAN dissolve TA in oil without using any benzyl alcohol, but it takes quite some time and takes heating too, and is not a preferred procedure.

I've been wondering if you can use benzyl alcohol to make fina, but how dangerous or painful is this??? I'm sure nobody knows what the secret solution is from the kit, but what makes it so different? Is it just a matter of dissolving the pellets faster? Someone shed some light !!!

Lots of us know what the chemistry is...you caN LEARN IT TOO...just have to research is all. I cannot compromise the efforts of others by rendering for free their source of income. However, is is a very simple procedure to make your own conversion kit. As basic as chemistry ever gets.
