hey guys...i just graduated college and am looking to buy a car. I started my own company and work for myself currently. You think I would be able to finance a car..considering I dont have any real credit right now?

if your credit score is decent and you can provide proof of income, then sure.

as long as you can have your accountant provide records of income, and you've employed yourself/been in business for 2+years, and have a decent credit score you shold be okay. without those if you can get financed make sure you watch what interest rate they give you.

taht the problem...i just started this business and right now its going great. I dont ahve any long term records of income, but i will trading in a car worth about $10k and mayeb another $5k down.

is it easier to get a lease?

go talk to them, you may need a cosigner. sometimes with a high credit score you can do what is called a stated income loan. i know they do this with home mortgages, not sure if it works with cars. good luck, credit can be a frustrating concept sometimes.

i got a car in 1994 w/o any credit and nothing but a few paychecks after i got out of college.

new degree. new job. i was pretty low risk and hence i got good terms.
