Finally got an ipod..

iPod's are life changing.
I'm still pissed at Apple for coming out with the Nano right after I purchased my "mini." But on the positive side, my mini with a metal case is (i'm sure) far more "shock" and drop proof than the nano... so I am happy after all, even it it doesn't have a COLOR screen
lol.... I use my iTrip in the car and at the gym (aka my basement to transmit my iPod tunes to my stereo receiver down there)... it makes lifting all that more worth while.

I got the U2 special edition photo over the summer, its pretty sweet, dont care about the size much b/c its still small enough and I have a really comfortable armband holder, it only fits on my forearm but I think its more comfortable on my forearm anyhow

I feel so outta the loop with this stuff. I still really like cd's.
My husband got my daughter a Nano for Christmas...apparently she'll be less likely to break it than an Ipod? Hubby has an ipod and his brother gave him another ipod shuffle for Christmas.
My husband has been converting all of our cd's to mp3's on the computer then stashing the cd's away in the closet in the office. Drives me batty! I wanna open a cd, take the cover out, read words, look at the pictures...I'm never gonna change.

I'm much like you. I have the majority of my 1000 or so CDs loaded up in 3 multi-changers(200-300 discs) and use shuffle play. But for on the go tunes I'm going nano. I'm also faced with upgrading the head units in my 3 vehicles to unite MP3s and sirius and/or XM.Puddles said:

Mysterio: go buy the cheap shuffle, like 80 bucks. I have an ipod and a shuffle, I only use the shuffle now(execpt for trips) because it can hold everything I need for the short time I'm away from my computer. It is easy to change songs and best for working out. IMO ipod downfall is durability, I have went through 5 of them in 2 years. I know it isn't just me either because my friend have the same problem, just one more reason to buy the cheap shuffle. Overall I couldn't live without them though.
