Finally got a new PC

Some of you may remember my thread a few days ago asking about help in buying a pc and a tv. I have lived in Madison now with only a computer at work to use, which is frowned upon by the company for personal use.

So Saturday I got a 56" Toshiba DLP

Today I got a Toshiba Satellite laptop. Now I just gotta get a wireless keyboard and mouse along with some cables to use my tv as a monitor.


Plus I live in an apartment now where everyone seems to have wireless, and I just log onto their signal and here I am.

I'm back baby!

i do that when i travel. at my parents house in new york i tapped in to the neighbors unsecured network and i could also look through their computer files and pics.... yes im bad

HDMI yes. Don't know what dvi is. I got the tv along with some cash and a hd dvd player with some discs. I know it's obsolete The dvd player), but ti also up grades the quality of my existing dvds to 720. My xbox keeps em at 480.

How is the DLP during the day with sunlight?

I have a lot of natural light in the room, but no direct sunlight. It always looks great.
