Fina making question

I'm getting ready to make my fina tomorrow. My question is that as I was looking thru my kit I noticed that none of my vials have a removable rubber stopper. They all have the rubber bung with the metal around it. Now my question is how am I suppose to get my pellets into the vial with the magic solution. Also the instuctions show that after dissolving the pellets that you pour the oil from one vial to the other. I guess I could draw with the syringe. I don't know am I missing something?

The metal around the stopper on the oil and magic solution vial, just pry under with a screw driver, knife or what have you. They tear easy and then you can grab it and pull it off. Leave the mepty sterile vial sealed, that is where your final product goes, injected through stopper. Also, dont forget to pull some oil aside before adding it so you have some to purge the sterile filter/s with.

Dont know where you got the kit from, but I guess the supp just ran out of "uncapped" vials....Like Zyg said, just use a screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers to take the caps off of the vials with the "magic solution" and oil in them....And save one of the capped vials for your finished product...I would definitely bake it a couple time to sterilize too...Just to be on the safe side...Fumunda

sounds like you got a kit from syntholD....com samething happened to me I was like what the fu*k. just like what everyone else said use a little knife to pry it off its really easy bro!

my last 8gf kit from A was crimped shut too, no biggie. I had some other stopped laying around from other conversions, but it is kind of a pain.

I think that all of A's kits come like this now. The best way to do it is use wire cutters. Just clip the side of the metal, it cuts like butter. Very easy. I was confused at first also.

they do not all come that way, I have gotten two kits now, one this morning and it was like the first, two rubber plugs and one sealed!

Believe it or not, im not done with it yet. I let pellets sit in solution overnight and they didnt dissolve. I added a little heat a little swirl and they dissolved. I then added some oil and heated, I have very good seperation(three very distinct layers) and thats where I am at. I am contemplating how im gonna proceed from here. I may try and coffee filter the bottom layer of gunk just so I can see how much more juice I can get from it(this is an 8gf kit so it may be worth it). I need some more vials if I do that so I have them on order as well as a finer .22 sterile filter. If its cloudy or anything I am gonna refilters through the finer filter. Im really kind of experimenting with this batch. I have been taking pictures and will do a full writeup on it when I am done.

I had the same doubt...I have A kit BTW. Will convert tomorrow also.
