I drive a Suburban Tanker Truck. Thinking of using it to be rolling gas station along the interstate.
Yea, $2.46 is still cheaper than national average. I don't really care how much gas gets because I will not give up my Suburban unless I trade it on a newer model. The long wheelbase makes for a smooth ride.

You hauling/towing with it on an often enough basis to justify needing something that large?
If yes, then it sucks to have to see those gas prices. If not, well, I got no sympathy. Just the way I am when it comes to gas guzzlers.

I have a couple of trailers I pull (not all the time) and I have a boat I pull to the lake.
I probably could get by with something a littlle smaller but then you are talking about a shorter wheelbase. I'm too used to the ride to get something different plus I have had good service with the Suburban. If it ain't broke don't fix it kind of mentality for me.

When my neighbor can afford to replace his fullsize 85 Chevy (I think it's a Scottsdale) he's giving me first dibs on buying it from him. It's in pretty good shape, minor problems here and there. I don't want it for a daily driver, I want it because it'd be easy as shit and pretty cheap to lift. I think I'd spend more on larger tires and rims to accomidate them than I would for the lift kit. I just want it for a weekend offroading toy and the occasional hauler.
I couldn't imagine using it for a daily driver though. I drive about 50 miles/day to get to and from school and to pick my son up from daycare. That's less than 2 gallons of gas/day in my Civic, but that'd be 5 gallons in that Chevy.
