fibre sources

I have a question in regards to what the sources of the types of fibre are. For example, where do you guyz go for your fibre. I know that either for the insoluble or soluble type you need supplementation. Since now that i know the importance of fibre in the diet, I will make a conscious effort of including it in my diet. For example, when I am starving in the middle of the night sometimes and i need something filling and at the same time nothing that is high GI or high in carbs that's when fibre comes in to play.

Oatmeal is good. Another source that some Keto people use is the Metemucil squares. They are high in fibre but not so high that you poopie:) in your pants.

Yep, I pretty much get mine from oats and cruciferous veggies....spinach, romaine lettuce, brocolli....
Nuts are also a good source...try a handful of raw almonds....

Anyone notice that the chocolate MRP's always have a couple grams of extra fiber per packet than the other flavors? I checked out the nutritional info on powdered chocolate, and it's actually not that bad. Per tbsp, it has 20 cals, 3g carb, 2 g fiber, 1g prt, 0.5g fat. But that is only for UNSWEETENED cocoa powder.

Also, if you go to a health-food store, buy some unflavored psyllium husk powder. If you mix it in water and let it sit, it thickens. If you play with the ratios of powder and water, you can get it to a jello-like consistency. It's actually pretty good with some protein powder mixed in--kind of like pudding.

the best is to take both
solube fiber and insoluble fiber
