My fiance is very excited to get into bodybuilding.
Ya'll got advice or tips for a female?

I have given her advice but it's I'm not sure women react the same way to lifting heavy. So I thought I'd axe ya'll.

(Plus I'm trying to get the plat board going)

So she's getting into lifting or serious BB ? With the first scenario I'd go step by step, try different routines and see which one works the best. I know my GF doesn't like heavy lifting at all. For the short period she tried that, she had all kind of problems and couldn't lift anymore without injuries. So she went back to high/medium reps and low/medium weight. Yours probably years away from trying AAS so that's out of question at this moment.

Yeah, AAS ain't even been brought up.

She's been lifting really really light weights for years and incorporating them into cardio.
She saw me working out one day and thought lifting heavy might be a good way to mix up her work outs.

Now she loves lifting heavy and has been looking for pics of female BB'ers who still look like women to help motivate her.

That's awesome....my wife was lifting with me like 3 years ago. Now that we have a son and she works and goes to school, she has no time or energy to....but I know she wishes she could. She's all about keeping a girly body, but she was really into learning proper training techniques. Hopefully when she's done with school she'll be back in the gym with me. Good luck bro.

Train her just like a man, but with less volume (ie, still heavy)

Man vs. woman training is just like on vs. off training. When you're on you tend to do more, but you don't change around everything.

I think its great, she doesn't plan on going way heavy, just tonning and sculpting.
