Feet Hurting

out of control

New member
Does anyone else have their arches (on their feet) hurt when you wake up the next day from heavy squats, deads and barbell shrugs? I know it is stressing them. Yes I have go  od shoes but would a board under your heels help? I can't be the only one to have this problem.

I completly flattened my arches a couple years ago. If you are having the arch pain all I can say is it will only get worse.
I had to get orthotics, fairly pricey but I can walk. LOL
I Now train in my barefeet But I need the orthotics in order to walk. LITERALY.
Even with them the arches hurt but it is bareable.

So as I see it you can take a few months to a year off and see what happens or you can get some orthotics fitted.

season7445: I'm guessing from years of heavy lifting and daily life/activities...........when I stand I have absolutley no arch, well had no arch the orthotics have made it better over the past year or so.
My arches hurt a bit and over 6 months or so got worse and worse, I never stopped training. Went to the doctor and got refered to foot specialist and thjen to orthotic people. the arches were flattened. got orthotics and can walk.

Cant be much more clear than that.
