Hi all.

I'm just going to keep this very short, typing really fast, cause I got somewhere to go-

for example: lets say you want to do 3 sets of barbell curl. 30-35-30 reps.

do you lift the weight 1 time for 30 reps, another time for 35 reps, and a third time again for 30 reps ?

or do you lift the weight 3 times ? as in doing the barbell curl 3 times for 30 reps each = 90 reps ?

Thanks !!!

She is trying to figure out if a workout routine says:
barbell curl 3 sets 30-35-30

If it means:
1 set 30 reps
rest
1 set 35 reps
rest
1 set 30 reps
rest

OR .....

3 sets 30 reps
rest
3 sets 35 reps
rest
3 sets 30 reps

I think! :)

QT had the REAL question though .....

Why would you be doing 30 reps of curls?

lol

I'm confused on that too. I didn't understand why 30reps or what exactly she was asking in the question.

Sorry, I'm trying to function on 3 hours of sleep :worried:

Why not just ask Bunny what/why I was doing that particular workout? There is always a reason for why I lift/eat/reps the things I do as well... generally...

;)

Hmm Bunny doesn't do that on a regular basis, it was to look a certain way on a certain day, not a regular routine.

And if you have questions about her workout, why don't you ask her about them.

OK, Yep, I'd ask Bunny, however my common sense is going to tell me this means 1 set of 30, 1 set of 35, 1 set of 30, done with barbell curls. She had increased her reps lately in prep for her photo shoot. Less focus on low rep / high weight and more of focus on the motion via higher rep / lower weight.

Sorry Bunny. I will ask you next time, since I am following you. You are my she-ro !!!! you look MARVELOUS !!!!!

I just did my biceps following your workout. I am getting bored with my workouts, I don't know what other changes I can make !!! I have made so many, I feel stuck now

It is good to have change, and it is good to use other people's workouts as a GUIDE for yours. BUT, you have to make sure you understand the REASONS behind a workout. Just blindly taking or following a routine just because you like someone's body is asinine.

Case in point, you used a routine of Bunny's without knowing what to do - or WHY. You must understand the context in which the routine is based in order to implement it and make it useful for YOU.

She-ro! Ha! That's great...and Thank you very much :rose:

No need to apologize...when in doubt always ask questions. The best thing I can suggest is to make changes according to your current goals (or at least a general idea of what you want to achieve).

For me... I am in my learning/experimental phase and more often than not, I will not post up the reason why I am doing what I am doing until after the fact...and often will put a little disclaimer * Do not mimic my training/diet for obvious reasons, etc*

I've noticed you've been searching around, looking for different things...asking questions, which is good.... BUT what are you looking to achieve? Try your best to define your tentative/temporary goal first and go from there.

Let me know if I can be of any help...the ladies are also full of great ideas (many more than I) to get you out of this rut

Hi Bunny.

What I am looking to achieve is to compete in fitness, hopfully one day. I am going to the fame show on may 28, in NYC I'll be working the WNSO booth, I just want to get my face & bod out there.

My goals are te increase my mass a litttle while staying lean as possible
