I got sucked into that HMB hype WAY back in the day when he first came out with the stuff. Shit was on backorder forever, and of course it did nothing like it claimed..

I remember when HMB first came out, I was always checking the GNC for it and they gave it too me from under the counter (told me it was the last one left, etc...) interesting that I bought the last one and my buddy went in and got the "other" last one I should have known then that it was B/S. Their protein was waaayyy over priced as was everything else. About the only claim to fame the dude had is his cookbook (which is not bad) and the Body for life program. My wife did the BFL program and was satisfied. But I heard some freaky stuff about the dude, like he was a little queer (to each his own) and was into some really weird shit at the time.

I remember the old Muscle Media 2K magazine when it was actually hardcore...then it started to suck. Those were good times back then for sure.

Nothing is dangerous about HMB except the money you would spend on it. Bill Phillips was the head of EAS and Muscle Media 2K and claimed HMB(a leucine metabolite) felt like Deca! It was total bullshit, but this dumbass bought 12 fckin bottles of the shit! His magazine was the best in it's day untill it went pussy and now all his fck buddies work for t-nation and Biotest. Of course you would have to be an old ass like me to remember all this. I am a bad ass old ass though..................ah the memories!LOL
