If this were my assignment, I am sure I could get my knowledge, post, karma etc. up to high levels... Then use this "profile" for information gathering??

We all go to great lengths to ensure that no one does anything illeagal on this board. (eg. source posting). So nothing to worry about.

I like to think that our gov't has better things to do than to monitor web sites such as EF...but that's probably wishful thinking on my part. As long as we use encrypted email to communicate important information and don't post personal information, I think we're relatively safe.

LE are here and have always been here at some levels, whether for information gathering or criminal investigation which happened in the past here. That's why we have the rules about source posting and such, to keep the Feds out of our shit.
