Fedor v. Arlovsky Is Off.

Apparently Fedor broke his hand again while battering Tim Sylvia. Arlovski will face off against Josh Barnett on October 11th instead.

In all honesty. I think Barnett has a much better chance against Fedor than Arlovski. I'm confident that the winner of Arlovski v. Barnett will face Fedor. I'm also fairly confident that Barnett will grind Arlovski for a victory.

Arlovski is a bad matchup for Barnett.

This one could be a stand up snoozer as Arlovski keeps his distance and pecks away with strait punches.

Arlovski in 3 round boring decision, IMO.

Couture is an ideal opponent for Fedor. From a promotional standpoint, you have two of the best heavyweights fighting for top heavyweight honor which creates a lot of excitement. Second, Fedor has looked his weakest fighting guys who are good in the clinch and have top heavy grappling styles. Arona almost took Fedor in Rings, Randleman laid a slam from hell on Fedor, Mark Coleman took his back in their first meeting, and even Mark Hunt gave Fedor problems by voiding Fedor's clinch.



Agree with everything you said (usually do). Couture is great at studying opponents & figuring out a way into their armor. Having said that, I think Fedor is a wrecking ball and would overwhelm Couture. Second to Couture, I would like to see Fedor vs. Josh Barnett. Barnett doesn't really look like a fighter, but he is underrated & also very dangerous.
