damn shaggy, so we do have something in common... or did. Mine was my father dying. Which he did a few years back. Just dont do what I did. I wont get into details so to put it simply I separated myself from him about 2 years before his death. I thought this would prepare me for it. Instead I regret it tremendously. Im sure your not a stupid as I am and I probably dont need to say this, but as much time with as you can while you have the chance.
As for the question... I dont really have any fears. My father has passed and Ive been married and divorced. Those two things have taught me a great deal in my life.

Something happening to my kids scares the living hell outta me. i.e. abductions.
Went to the beach not to long ago. Looked up and my 7 year old daughter was no where to found.
That was the absolute most sick feeling I ever had.
We found her several hundred yards down the beach.
Looking for us. I don't wish that feeling on anyone!
THAT'S what scares me........

Gilby....no, I'm pretty tight with my mom. But she's the only person I have ever had in my life that has been there for me always. Without her, I've never lived. I fear how I will adapt, but mostly, that I will never find someone who will be there for me always again in my life. Thats what scares me the most....
