Raptorex

New member
I'm breaking below 200lbs and it is freaking my out, I feel like a skinny marathoner... What do you all do to manage this madness.

Thanks for your help.

you need some dq, stat!

but seriously, when i cut down i lose a ton of weight and get paranoid but, despite what the scale says, i go predominantly by the mirror.

is that Dairy Queen...lmao

No way dude, we use to buy icecream in the summer only to put it in front of our cars and run them over to show our hatred for the crap!

Your right, maybe the mirror is the way instead of my weekly weigh ins.

Thanks Bro

You broke rule #5

Never criticize or tease about his appearance. This could trigger the Adonis Complex or make it worse. Drawing attention to appearance only reinforces this unhealthy obsession.

Thanks Fonz

The use of large amounts of dietary supplements (such as creatine or protein powder) or the use of steroids (such as ephedrine or androstenedione).

ephedrine and andro steroids?

news to me....

well that pic came up when i googled, and i thought it was funny.

i guess it's some other anorexic chick

i deal with it by remembering that i've always been a skinny/fat biatch with no muscle mass whatsoever. that usually makes me feel so much better.

and F->U to all those hating on the Yankees, now and in the future.

YANKEE"S SUCK!

Once you've been big and ripped, nothing else will suffice. I have the same fear. Becoming like regular people, as Rocky once said.

Due to a recent hijacking, a new post has been made in honor of Yankee fans.

This has been a public service announcement.

Welcome to the world of muscle dismorphia. I have to take pics in order to get a true evalutation of my physique. In the mirror I my arms always look like they are 11-12". For example, the pic taken yesterday, my mom just took a quick one for me on her cam on her computer when I was visiting yesterday. Just keptthe first one. I'm convinced she must have gone back behind me and photoshopped it when I wasn't looking to add some size to my arms. They do not look anything like that in the mirror right now.

I don't know about you but I never had any problems with "small syndrome" or muscle dismorphia prior to lifting (maybe because I didn't have any muscles :) )

I am kind of convinced that lifting adds to image issues...as there never really is an end to how big one can get.

Its funny though, because if I look in the mirror with my shirt off then look at your pic, I'm like "jerkbox is pretty big", but then I look at the picture in my avatar I just put up and go, "Wait, I'm bigger than him..." Muscle dismorphia is horrible. LoL

If thats you in your avatar, I don't think you have anything to worry about. You look like you got good muscle density. Don't let the scale play tricks with you, go by how you look in the mirror.

Thanks bro...I'll keep working at it.
