The shoes should be ok unless you have something more dressy (somtimes those thick wafflestomper soles detract from a nice pair of dress pants...), but go with a black belt if you can.

well like my dad always says for formal events, you can never go wrong with a nice good looking black suit.

Black jacket, black pants, black belt, black shoes, white shirt and red tie.
