I'd pop the pantaloons for Faramir. :artist:

your creativity is dwindling; I suggest rehab
Yeah, well, most artists have to be self-indulgent at some point...how else are we supposed to bring back glorious boons decorated with rhinestones?

I hope they have a Bedazzler on ward.

There you go. What were those guys called? The place was called Rohan, but they called the horsie riders something else.
Rohirrim- the inhabitants of Rohan
Riders of Rohan and Riders of the Mark refer specifically to their mounted soldiers

They've been saying that for years.

What's this about Jackson not writing the friggin' script for The Hobbit?

:cow:

Yes, they have, but as mentioned, several factors have brought the Hobbit franchise back online: the crappy box office performance of New Line's Golden Compass (two additonal sequences probably won't materialize), the resolution of the profit sharing issue between Jackson and New Line, and the signing of a contract between the two parties.

It was implied that Jackson won't be writing the script because he has too much on his plate at the moment, but I dunno. I think once he starts pre-production, he may just jump into the scripting...he seems like the type of perfectionist who just couldn't help himself. :)

I first became familiar with Sean Bean's acting in the Sharpe series.....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sean_Bean

"However it was the character Richard Sharpe that he would become most associated with. Bean was the first choice to play Sharpe, but was unavailable, so the part went to Paul McGann. Two days into filming, however, McGann was injured in a football match, and while the producers initially tried to work around his injury, eventually he was replaced with Bean, who was by then available.[9] The 14-episode Sharpe television series was based on Bernard Cornwell's novels about the Napoleonic Wars and started with Sharpe's Rifles. The series followed the fortunes of Richard Sharpe as he rose from Sergeant to Lieutenant Colonel by the time of the Battle of Waterloo. It ran from 1993 to 1997 with 3 episodes produced each year. This established him as a household name in the UK. After several years of rumours, another one-off episode, called Sharpe's Challenge, was aired in April 2006.[10] Bean also played the role of Lord Richard Fenton in the TV Miniseries Scarlett based on the sequel to Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind."
