So... comes a time in the life of all hair chemical junkie when we epicly failo, mine was on
onday when I allowed my mom to attempt to give me highlights holly cow did that go bad..... only the top got light and the ash blond didn't fully kick in so it looked like a sunflower was springing from my roots I had to wear a hoodie to work and then get a burgundy color and throw it in the next day..... did not take pics, do not wat proof it ever happened

Have you ever done anything like this or am I the only dumbass?

OH yes. luckily, i was younger and could get away with it, but I gave myself red highlights in my naturally dark hair. What I did was bleached some streaks, then dyed the whole thing dark red. where the blond streaks were, was SOOOO bright it was insane. by the end of the week, they were pink and blond. I looked like a peacock.

Something similar happenes to me when i was like 18, went to a salon and to get thin highlights, I had finally reached the color Iwanted a nice re Marcia Cross type color and wanted mini blonde streaks, the dude took like 2 hours of taking hair from one of those hole cap thingies, when he finished (it was almost 7 o'clock) i told him not to dry it as i could do it home and wanted to leave, when i got home and dried up noticed they where huge whie strips instead of fine blonde, ext day I went and they jerk off apologized and said he would do the procedure in a reverse way, took hair from cap thingy and would add red so i would now have the whites red again and fine light strips, but the total idiot applied RED instead of orange.... when the douche finished my hair had orange, white red and piunk where whte and red merged..... I had to die it all chocolate.... so sad.... never again did i reach that nice redhead look....

The worst thing I've done is a perm and bleach in the same week. I had to wear extentions for about half a year because my hair was falling out! Other than that, I've been pretty risky with my hair, changing colors and styles and lengths frequently. I've been blonde now for over a year..the longest I've gone with a haircolor. I think its just me getting older that makes me want to stick to one color/hairstyle now. I really was tempted to dye it dark this summer though! Nothing looks better than deep dark hair, blue eyes and a tan! But I decided to keep dyes off my scalp and just highlight throughout the pregnancy. So I'm blonde until next summer it seems!
