Facebook totally sucks more

Because the interface is more "user friendly" and not bling bling as with MySpace AND in the vast majority, it's about real people using their real names instead of "SuPa_ChIX_sExY_69" or "HOT_$tud_666". If you want to join a college network for example, you need to provide a valid college e-mail, same with workplaces.

MySpace is mostly for kids and Jersey club sluts...
 
Facebook was designed by the government to keep track of people... :mix:

As long as you have nothing to hide (criminal) and you dont post vital infos, why not ? I found many old friends using Facebook. I doubt the same would have been possible with MySpace...
 
it's so much easier to get/stay in contact with people through face book... myspace is cluttered
 
I'm wondering why exchange-plateform like facebook have been created.
It begins by coolbox & facebox, than has been assiciate by the owners to creation of Netlog... with more than 80 country around world... Eu, US, Magreb, Africa, etc...

But at the same time they have made facebook... It's strange...

Some people talking about facebook think than it's only an other way to by a part of microsoft incorporation on web...

In my little way, i guess than it answer to the request of a lot of people...

What about my-space? Comparativly... Better or not?

on myspace you can do an email search, name search, and search somebody by school name and narrow it down by the year. myspace has more search options.

Same with Facebook. You can scan your entire email adress book from Hotmail and see who's on Facebook. I just can't stand those bling-bling MySpace pages with gay-ass music in the background. MySpace is the attention-whore sanctuary...

If you're friends aren't from ur college and ur work friends don't really use it, why would
u have facebook?
 
facebook is so crucial for keeping up with people, especially if you've transfered. Also it's an awesome way to manage your social life because everytime there's a party/event the hosts can just make a facebook event and invite all their friends. Then you can check your upcoming events and see what you got lined up..

ive seen myspace pages before they are so fucking cluttered and hard to read, take forever to load, and impose shitty music on you...bleh

It looks more pro.

One can check it at work, college, etc. It's not designed for 'attention whores', but legitimate communication with people you know.

But if you want 5,000+ friends and become the next tila tequila - myspace is the way to go.

Myspace caters to a younger attention whore crowd. Facebook is more for mature professional folks who desire more than attention getting.

Facebook sucks total ass. All of these add-ons like Vampires and Zombies are sooooo stupid. It has ruined the entire site. I stopped using it.

it sucks now that everyone can use it...It used to be solid when it was only college student and alumni...I think microsoft bought it though and has gayed it up to get tons of people to sign up so they can get more traffic

Whoa. I just signed up for facebook. When I was registering, I didn't know it was going to put my first AND last name on my page. I'm glad I used my maiden name. I guess they do that so people from high school and stuff can find me? Should I/can I change it or should I leave it so old friends can locate me?

I use my real name on facebook does help with searching... It's mostly people I work with and a few freinds who use the computer and some old school buddies. I agree lots of gayness with the apps some people make. I definatly treat it diffrent that I would a myspace page. I rarely use it...

Make sure you go into your privacy settings and make all you stuff private.
 
I agree with Salad Fork, myway. I started a facebook page to keep in touch with people as we plan our next HS reunion, but with all my privacy settings you basically have to know me to see my page.
 
facebook is better because you can use it at work, and also, the decresed random factor means that girls get hassled less

...and like everythin else in life, where the girls go, everyone goes
 
I hate all of the stupid add-ons on Facebook. If someone wants to share something I have to fill out forms and I am forced to send it to other people. Fucking sucks.

Plus throw in all of the stupid Zombie and Vampire attacks - Facebook has gone downhill.
