Your body works through a biofeedback loop. When you start taking in MORE water, your body starts producing extra diuretics to flush out that water and keep you in homeostasis. Drop your sodium intake, perhaps switch some tuna to chicken, and increase water intake. Your body water levels should drop. This is the main reason pro bbers drink 2-3 gallons/day of water up to a few days before a show, then cut it out... natural diuretics are then at their peak and take care of most of the water without harsher drugs like lasix.
