Why are you doing it?
I'm 32 years young. I feel stagnant and want to learn more. I've always had a passion for anesthesia so that's what I'm doing. It will allow me more autonomy and freedom. The triple income doesn't hurt either. 
I should hopefully be done in under three years. My fiancé is trying to talk me into going into med school (fuck no). She didn't start med school until after her masters in biology at the age of 27 so it's never to late to go back. I figure now's the time before we start having baby's.

Until you earn an M.D. you'll be the "bottom" in that relationship

First off, stop mentioning my competition and second, my friend was dying of leukemia (CML) and had 6 months to live. She was 34 and a high school drop out. While sick, she went back to school, got her diploma, then went on to get her Molecular Biology degree, then off to her Masters and now, she's a PHD cancer researcher. Moral of the story; It's never too late to do what you love!
Yes, she obviously lived. She is the spokesperson for Gleevec by the way and did a ton of Naturopathic medicine as well.

Yup, definitely knot an easy program to get into but I'm working some connections and fair a pretty decent shot. I have some great references too
Thanks for sharing that, very motivational. I remember way back when going through nursing school had a 60yr old in my class...simply wanting to fulfill a dream before she died. She didn't make it, couldn't hear for shit
