F**K Bill O'Reilly

MR.?

New member
I just heard that fucking racist refer to Mexicans as "wetbacks" on national television. He was speaking on immigration and drug trafficking with a Mexican Texas congressman. The congressman shook his head with disbelief.

What a fuck up...they should have this dumb fuck removed...somebody please get some contact numbers so I can bitch to someone about this.

if it bothers you that much, why dont you just change the channel and not watch it?

i could give a fuck less if some television station gave louis farakhan or some other 'racist' to spout off. want to know why? because i just wouldnt watch it.

it's really that simple.

i have no idea why so many people get offended by words that arent directed at you personally.

Give me a break.....Bill O'Reilly...who claims to be fair and balanced....someone who has stated before he is not a racist...use a racist epithet on national tv. I dont care who you are....If Dan Rather used term wetback, nigger, honky, cracker spick or any other racist term he would be off tv fast. Same thing with any politician...look what happened to Trent Lott.

Actually, I still see Robert Byrd, Hillary Klinton, Jessie Jackson, and Cynthia Mckinney on tv quite often.

BangedUp,

Jesse Jackson and Cynthia McKinney, did great damage to their careers as a result of their insensitive remarks. Jesse Jackson was given hell for his "hymie town" remark that still is brought up repeatedly by conservative pundits.

I'm not saying other's haven't used racial epithets. I would just like to see O'Reilly explain his reasons why for using the term. I could care less if David Duke used the term b/c we all konw what he is. Bill O'Reilly swears by his balanced approach and that he is not a racist. Just seems a little hypocritical.

I hear you man. I would also like to hear his reasoning for using the term.

There really is no need for that on tv.

On another note, do you find it odd that a former KKK leader is now a liberal senator? Wonder why the Dems do not condemn him as the Repubs did with Lott?

BTW... I do not like any of these news pundits and politicians. Most are just lying scumbags with their own agenda. They do not want to report the news, they want to tell everyone how to think.

I disagree with any political using racial epithets. I also disagree with Senator Byrd. It's concerning that we still have politicians who racist leading our country.

i dont see it as a racial slur. if he said spic or beaner then, yeah, but he is referring to illegal immigrants not mexicans in general.

I agree with about 90% of what Bill O'Reilly has to say. I love watching the factor. The man should be made president.

He'd have my vote.. Though I don't like the fact that he is so pro-war.

hate speech is free speech, as long as it isnt used to incite.

how do you think the Klan gets away with all of their rallies?

It is hate speech as soon as it demonizes any group of people.

The Klan is a private organization. O'Reilly is on national television.

HUGE difference.

what do you think the klan does?

i've seen klan rallies on tv, and that's 100% legal. the only reasons some networks dont run that shit, is because they dont want to lose viewers.

as long as it isnt meant to incite, it is 100% legal.

we did a presentation on this for a communications class, man. i'm right on the money with this.

whether or not one agrees with the message, they do have the right to say it, so long as it doesnt incite or advocate violence against that particular group.

You have a free speech right to say what you want.
But there is no free speech right to own a television show.
Saying what's on your mind on your own television show rises to a higher standard.
He could loose his show (not a bad idea at that), and the station that produced it could lose their FCC license.
That's somewhat similar to what happened to that quack "Dr. Laura."

I love the way Bill uses the term "working class." but he makes $4 million a year in a cushy office job and he didn't even come from a working class background. This guy is a fucking joke!!!

Hosts like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Tony Snow and Brit Hume dominate Fox and give its "news" a clear right-wing bias.

Bill O'Reilly goes after "Not In Our Name" in Jewish World Review.

If I get mad and call someone a big fucking nigger, (because I'm angry about something a black man did) is that ok then? I'm just trying to figure out my boundaries and such.

Quote From Bill O'Reilly:
"It is true that if you are poor, and can't afford a good lawyer, your odds of going to prison skyrocket. But you know what? Tough. Don't do the crime! Poverty is a terrible thing. But millions fight their way out of it, legally! If you are a poor criminal, you know what awaits you. So too bad. Society does not have a responsibility to provide top notch legal representation at taxpayer expense."

Hey Billy Boy, You said people dont deserve a good attorney because they committed a crime. That assumes everyone charged with a crime is guilty!!

O'Reilly once said to a guest that if Bush does anything wrong he will attack him just as strongly as he did Bill Clinton ( Yeah Right ). Where are the Bush Attacks O'Reilly, I have not seen any. What about cheney hiding the secret energy meeting records, if Clinton/Gore had done that O'Reilly would cover it every night.

I like the segment Bill O'Reilly did on Bigfoot crashing a Playboy model shoot. I wonder if he thinks the US should declare war on British Columbia.

2THICK, you must be thinking of the laws in that "free" country Canada that you love so much. There is no "hate speech", as of yet (I will give it time since the left is taking over), in this country. The very concept of "hate speech" and "hate crimes" are thought crimes. Laws against these so-called crimes are immoral for their ambiguity, violation of individual freedom and underlying purpose of social control.
