Eesh,that's a little creepy.Although,if it were the feds,they'd probably try to look the part of a postal carrier for a clean snare.
Did he have a shiny badge on? 
sorry bro, couldn't resist. But I've never heard of that. I'm confused though, did he attempt to deliver it and you not answer the door? If you're worried about it then I'd recommend cleaning the house. Like I stated in another thread, I know a guy that just got busted with a controlled delivery and he didn't have jack shit delivered to him. But it was international. If you're shit is domestic then I don't think you have much to worry about.
If it was sent Express then you should have gotten it in a day or two. This is not enough time for the feds to test it, so I'd figure as long as it came within that timeline you're ok.

That shit always happens brother. The USPS uses Independently hired deliverers, whom they pay like $12/Hr. to do their local deliveries. Sometimes they have no clue what they are doing, and will ask for a sig on a pax whos' sig has been waived too! You wanna talk about shit-in-the-pants?! How about when that un-unifomed guy delivering your illegal cookware wants a sig as well?!?! This usually happens because they want some kind of insurance that they indeed DID try to at least attempt to deliver the Pax to you. Either way, it is VERY common and isn't anything to worry about. What would worry ME, would be if it were VERY LATE as well as being delivered by a non-uni'ed guy/girl, who also wants a sig. Red flags all around in that case.

The apartment complex place where I live has them come around all the time. They hire people part time to do routes when they are in a jam and just load up their own car with the mail. They don't have a uniform and if they are new they are usually pretty clueless. I had to chase one out the door to get my package from one because I didn't hear the knock at the door and then I saw her walking out to her car. I signed for my package and went back in happy (200 sustanons happier). Sometimes express mail is delivered separately from your regular mail because it is guranteed either before noon or 3pm so they send out private carriers to deliver these alot. I've gotten several packages from people in regular clothes and signed for them.
It really depends what part of the country you live in. If they want to bust someone that lives in the sticks for some gear they will because they have nothing else to do. In the big cities they are busy chasing coke dealers, heroine, x , murderers, rapists. They don't want to spend many man hours setting up some kid that wants to get bigger. Gear users aren't the biggest threat to the community. We don't go rob a liquor store to get money for our next cycle like a crackhead would because they need a fix.

That's why I like Express Mail. You should have it the next day. If it's delayed a couple days because they are trying to set something up you know there is a huge red flag. But if your package comes the next day right on time chances are it hasn't been fucked with. It's always a fun time signing for my packs from someone I've never seen before in plain clothes.
