Explosive rows

I always do dumbell rows for my back. TodayI dropped the weight to 70lb and did real explosive sets. Really felt it in my back. I think ill start working my back in this fashion
 
it felt so good. here is a problem i have. I train the same schedule as You COOlCOlJ. I only do one lift per body part as im afraid ill over train. What is your view on that
 
Interesting... I lowered some weight on my shoulders from time to time, and noticed a real difference... today, I lowered my shoulder press to 50lbs for 15-16 reps, and hammered them out ... I had a really nice swell off them...

It's about progressive thinking... and the training boards are the place to find this info out... thank you for posting.

Well why think you need to do one exercise for say biceps, when rows with a reverse grip will hits your biceps and back with bigger weights.
You save time and effort, and you can expend less energy :)

BTW I ahve some clips of me doing explosive reverse grip rows if yoru inetrested - I did post em up here awhile back though :)
 
sure...would love to see it. My arms dont respond if i dont do direct work. Just a few sets after a big compound movments seem to be doing good so far
 
I just try to pull it up was fast as I can. The muscles still have to fire to move the weight.

I do like to move my torso, if that is what you mean, that is one fo the functions of the lats as well. Plus it gets other muscles like the erectors involved etc
