So, I'm in the gym just doing bench. A guy walks up and asks if he can work in. I say sure and I unload half the weight so he can start his set. He finishes his set and we proceed to load the weight back onto the bar so I can do mine.
We do this for about 2 sets.
Then, he tells me that he usually does alot more then he's doing and alot more then I'm doing, but his injury needs to heal before he can lift heavy again.
I bit my tonge, but this isn't the first time something like this has happened to me at the gym. I was so tempted to say...
"Look, buddy. I don't care how much you lift."
Does anyone else get this? Is it just me? Why would he bother to say that he's stronger then me when we both know that I don't care?
