Expiration Dates?

Question: How accurate are the expiration dates for anabolic steroids and should I or can I still use them if they are expired (say six months ago)?

Good up to 5 years past then they start to loose some kick.

I called my compounding pharmacy the other day... as I noticed a puncture in my rubber stopper on my new vial...told me they buy presealed steril vials and load em in a steril hood this way....said less chance of contamination...

Anyway...he kept asking me what the expiration date was...I said I had 6 months left to which he said..."they REALLY begin to loose potency 6 months after the printed exp date...

I hope not...as I didn't use all from that company and still have a few tens left...that are over 6 months out.. Mine were stored in a cool dark place...so I think it will be ok.

My sister is a Pharm D in compounding...I'm tempted to ask...but......she doesn't know...
