Experts? AAS and Memory Loss

Robert Jan

New member
This is for a friend, I don't even juice myself.
He has some questions for the more knowledgable guys on here.
He's done a cycle, his second, and he used enth and eq. towards the end of the cycle and on for a while after that he had trouble with his memory.
He spoke to some other users at the gym and found it was a fairly common phenomenon for them and for some it had become permanent.

1.
Can a cycle of AAS cause temporary or permanent memory loss, more specifically, not so much the recollection of old information, but the storing of new?

2.
If so, how? Don't give me the Cliff's Notes version... Tell me all you know.

3.
Have you experienced this personally?

4.
Are there specific types of AAS that do this?

5.
Can anything be done to prevent this?

He talked to them at the gym when all the blood was in there muscles. Thus no brain activity.LOL Sex and sports is all that should really be discussed at the gym.

Wish I could forget about some of them fat chick I fucked but AAS has failed me there.

Seriously 3 cycles and no problems that I can think of, or can I just not remember?

You'd know. the things my friend mentioned was for instance he would be writing something down and then suddenly doesnt even remember why he was writing anything at all

i friggin put the cottage cheese in the pantry today. what the hell was i thinkin

People cant admit they have memory losses some times... some times it just happens, could be anything with bodybuilders.

Hormones and memory...

Women may lose memory from a drop in estrogen levels.

You may lose memory from cortisol.

Androgens play a role in the normal learning and memory function in men. It's theorized that this has something to do with androgen's affects on acetylcholine levels, which are the memory messengers. But no one knows for sure.

Taking steroids does not affect your memory directly.

I definitely have noticed since I started intense training a couple years ago, I have had problems with my short term memory, and I have not used AAS's yet.
