experiencing panic attacks after heavy cardio sessions

i have anxiety.. i take 10mg lexapro/day and occasional xanex. usually working out calms my nerves.. but for the past 2 weeks i've been doing cardio everyday for about 30-45 minutes. about 10-15 minutes after my cardio i feel a panic attack coming on, have trouble breathing and feel lightheaded like I am going to pass out, also i experience chest pain. basically its a full blown panic attack.. If I lay on my back under a fan it eventually passes.....

any ideas why heavy cardio is causing this?
 
Very likely low blood sugar
try eating something like a couple of spoonfuls of cottage cheese or a small chicken breast with a little bit of bbq sauce before cardio.
 
i also forgot to add that when i eat some crackers and drink a small glass of milk it helps it pass... so i gues s low blood sugar is right
 
did your doc hesitate to give your the scrips...the reason i ask is since i have add anxiety now for like 4 years without any meds...........thats why i always carry i bottle of water with me.
