I started doing stiff-legged deadlifts with low reps as you suggested to BBF. I just hit 315 x 5 today, somewhat partial (about 5" above where the plates would sit on the ground, because further below that my lower back starts to round). The reason I like doing it this way is because with 10+ reps, I tend to subconsciously speed up my reps closer to the end of the set. With lower reps this is almost impossible because you're really fighting with each pull.
