Exercise, Depression, and more

OK let me start by saying Ephedrine HCL makes me freaking CRAZY.. and depressed How's Thermoxin? What else doesn't have a crash effect but works?

On that note.. I admit I'm a little depressed. I've heard that it takes about 5 times a week worth of cardio for 20 minutes to help with depression.. Does anyone know how long this takes to really help with depression? I mean will your serotonin levels balance out after a couple of weeks or what? Any info on this subject is appreciated.

I never had any crashing problems with therm. but thats just me. As far as exercise, I find one good hard lifting session is enough to life my mood.
 
I am manic depressive and bi polar. I never took anything my doc recommended because I always thought I was the guy that would eventually flip out and kill someone - I'm being serious. I've seen some fellow army friends go nutso on anti-depressants.

I combat it by staying active and doing cardio. I have spells where I hit a pit and it becomes the worst then. My initial reaction is to bottle up inside and to keep it all in myself but that isn't good. I hit the gym more, do more cardio and hang out with my bros and just stay freaking busy. Setting goals is also a good thing.

As for natural sups jayseven is straight on with phenibut (start out with a small amount like 1g and see how it goes - I never go over 2g). Lately I have been taking GABA and that really helps (about 2g before bed and maybe 700mg - 1g in the morning or whenever I need it).
 
ephedrine is the only way to go for me, it makes me feel good through a workout and then after i come down im really tired. it makes me sleep good at night, stimulantx makes me sick to my stomach and i cant sleep
 
green tea (EGCG) works well for me... I'll pop an occasional Thermorexin pre workout though if i'm feeling particularly sluggish.

Depression is more than popping pills... stay active, get all your stuff done, find a new hobbie, ect... like u said... hit the cardio boosts mood.

Lifting hard and heavy does as well though.

Do you Gas it can really make the whole bi-polar thing worse..
