I don't have a clue, actually...

I used to suspect this a lot but really, who knows, because when people hang out together they do start sounding more alike.

They influence each other, for sure...so it could just be that there are a bunch of people who sound similar but are genuinely different people...

like in Life of Brian, they chorused as one, "We're all individuals!!!" but then one said "I'm not!!!"
