Trust me, CIA doesn't ignore evidence. The people who receive that intelligence (mainly the person who reads the PDB, hint hint), may choose to ignore that evidence. CIA reports everything it obtains in the PDB and other assessments with interpretation of how credible the intelligence estimate is.

Although the case officers have a large amount of intelligence information within their hands, they do not have the entire spectrum. The analysts have more information through SIGINT (signals intelligence), HUMINT (human intelligence), plus other means that cannot be mentioned.

CIA takes a lot of blame for failures, but trust me, the numerous successes are never mentioned because the agency does not want to create paranoia among Americans, reveal its intelligence sources, etc.

all the money spent in iraq went from one american pocket to another - from the taxpayer, to the military/industrial complex
